James McDaid

James Roscoe McDaid, age 56, a resident of Berkley for the past four years, formerly of Rochester Hills, died October 27, 2009 at his home. He was born September 18, 1953 in Ferndale. Mr. McDaid worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. He is survived by his children, James Roscoe McDaid II of Rochester Hills, Erika E. Noppenberger of Rochester Hills, Jennifer A. Peter DiVito of Washington Township and Michael P. Noppenberger of Hadley; mother, Marylouise McDaid of Berkley; siblings, Michael A. Kathryn McDaid of Apache Junction, AZ, Kathleen L. Carrel of Indianapolis, IN, Matthew J. McDaid of Orlando, FL, Brian C. McDaid of Albuquerque, NM and Kevin P. Mary McDaid of Oak Park; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen J. McDaid; and sister, Mary McDaid. The visitation will be held Friday 2-8 p.m. and Saturday 12 noon until the time of service 3 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with Deacon Brian Carroll officiating. The inurnment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
