Beloved husband of the late Sada. Loving father of James M. Sandra Crenshaw, Janet M. Ronald O. Nedrow and Judith A. Charles Muggelberg. Proud grandfather of Charles E. Muggelberg, Nancy L. Wayne Baltimore Muggelberg, James A. Crenshaw, Sarah A. Jeff Greskowiak and Sharon K. Alan Robinson. Great grandfather of Danielle Madden, Heather Muggelberg, Gabrielle Muggelberg, Chase A. Robinson and Madison Greskowiak. Great-great grandfather of Damien Madden and Serenity Madden. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Crenshaw was a tool and die maker and a mentor to many in his work. He was active in UAW Local #155 and enjoyed boating and water in general. He was also a proud U.S. Army veteran who served in "A" Company, 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Division Red Diamond Division. According to his Separation Record, he was inducted on June 3, 1944 and arrived in the European Theatre of Operations November 27, 1944. He was a Combat Infantryman and Squad Leader and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He fought in the Ardennes Battle of the Bulge, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was awarded the European Theatre Ribbon with 5 stars, the Bronze Star Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. After the war, he was shipped home on July 18, 1945 and discharged Honorably on October 6, 1945. His service makes him part of Tom Brokaw's "Greatest Generation" and a legitimate defender of freedom.
