Jacqueline Goodgine

Jacqueline "Jackie" Annette Goodgine, age 70, a 40-year resident of Royal Oak, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by family. She was born April 12, 1943 in Detroit to the late Lloyd, Sr. and Josephine Mayville. Jackie worked at The American House for a short time in housekeeping and registration. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing and yoga. But most of all, she was as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who especially loved spending time with her family. She was the beloved wife of Jerry, whom she married July 28, 1962 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Hazel Park. It was a wonderful 20th birthday present to Jerry that special day. Loving mother of John Goodgine and Renee Atek. Proud grandmother of William and Stephanie Atek, and Shawn Goodgine. Dear sister of Lorraine Frank Schwartz, Ronald the late Therese Mayville and the late Lloyd Mayville, Jr. The visitation will be Wednesday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral Home. Interment at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
