Jacqueline A. Curtis, age 82, a former resident of Royal Oak and Lakeland, FL 1987-2001, died June 3, 2010 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. She was born November 7, 1927 in Royal Oak. Mrs. Curtis was born and raised in Royal Oak. She was a member of the VFW Post #4037 Auxiliary in Troy and VFW Post #4139 Auxiliary in Lapeer. She is survived by her children, Jerry Dianne Curtis, Jr. of Royal Oak, Sue Randy Hoag of Troy and Anita Ron Scaramuzzino of Imlay City; sister, Joan Bailey; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald R. Curtis, Sr., on February 15, 2001. The couple married February 20, 1946 in Rochester; and brother, Martin Kennoy. The visitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m. and service Monday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with Pastor Ron Scaramuzzino and Pastor Rob Lentz officiating. The inurnment will be at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
