Irene Haylett

Irene Haylett nee Fons, age 88, of Royal Oak, died Monday, August 11, 2008, at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. She was born June 3, 1920, in Castell, Wisconsin. Mrs. Haylett lived in Royal Oak since 1946. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and loved having her family around her. Her survivors include her children, Susan DeRoos of Royal Oak, Marianne Kenyon Schmanske of Saline, Barbara J. Seitz of Royal Oak, Christina L. Andrew Wood Haylett of Rochester, Patrice Seiler of Birmingham, Kathryn Richard Ebaugh of Dearborn and her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Haylett of Ferndale; her brother, Daniel Fons of Troy; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Haylett; and her son, Robert Haylett.
