Irene A. Gazan, age 94, a resident of Farmington Hills, died April 23, 2013 at Heartland Health Care Center in Bloomfield Hills. She was born October 3, 1918 in Detroit to the late John and Mary Wall. Mrs. Gazan loved gardening, sewing and antiquing. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Ben Grimaldi and Gloria Ron Gregg; ; grandchildren, Monique, Tamara, Amber, Jeremy, Lee and Tracy; and great grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Molly, Mason, Tyler, Chloe, Alexandria, Lillian, Noah, Maddox and Josephine. She was preceded in death by her siblings, John Wall Jr. and Rose Wilmot; also by her beloved husband, George A. Gazan, on August 22, 1999; the couple married June 21, 1941 at the National Shrine of the Little Flower. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Colette. The visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Gazan will lie in state Saturday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
