Irene Baker

Irene Lewis Baker, age 90, a resident of Royal Oak, died November 14, 2011 at her home. She was born May 19, 1921 in Detroit to the late Francis and Michalina Puzdrowski. Mrs. Baker was an avid church member of St. Columban Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Janet, Ronald and Dennis Pollom; stepsons, Robert and Charles Lewis; grandchildren, Lynn Anderson, Gillian Roesch, Robin Isaacson, Bruce Pollom and Casey Johnson; four great grandchildren; and special friend, Frank Attridge. The visitation will be Thursday 2-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Baker will lie in state Friday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Columban Catholic Church in Birmingham, with the Rev. Donald Demmer officiating.
