Hilda Welch

Hilda Margaret Welch, age 83, a resident of Royal Oak, died January 29, 2011 at her home. She was born December 6, 1927 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She is survived by her children, Charles Welch of Royal Oak and Jessie Strong of Royal Oak; brother, Thomas Jackson of Pontiac; grandchildren, Laura, Pamela, Matthew, Justin, Gary, Richard, Emily, Donal, Anna and Angelina; and great granddaughters, Jetta and Jennafer. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol DeMerle. The visitation will be Friday 1-9 p.m. and service Saturday 11 a.m., with the Rev. Linda Northcraft officiating, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
