Herbert Brasgalla

Herbert B. Brasgalla, age 67, a Macomb resident since 2001, formerly of Royal Oak, died January 27, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born May 6, 1941 in Detroit. Mr. Brasgalla retired from American Axle in 2000, where he was a receiving inspector for six years. Prior to that he worked for General Motors for over 30 years. He was a member and Past Master of Northwood Masonic Lodge #551 F & AM. He also loved to camp, fish and cook. He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Pellow Brasgalla, whom he married September 4, 1965 in Woodstock, Ontario; children, Michael L. Kimberly Brasgalla of Chesterfield and Sean J. Colleen Brasgalla of South Lyon; brother, Donald Lee Brasgalla of Del Rio, TX; grandchildren, Vincent and Michaelann; and his in-laws, Leslie and Pansy Pellow of Amherstburg, Ontario. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mildred Brasgalla; and sister, Janice Johnson. Memorial visitation will be Saturday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Masonic service, under the auspices of Northwood Lodge #551 F & AM, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks.
