Helen Payne

Helen M. Payne, age 95, a resident of Royal Oak, passed away March 20, 2012. She was born December 25, 1916 in Royal Oak to the late Peter and Mary Barnowski. She is survived by her children, Ruth Ann Hans Duus, Marcia Joseph Tekelly and Maureen John Husek; grandchildren, Andrew Melissa Husek, Megan Husek, Daniel Rachel Husek, Joseph Tekelly and Michael Tekelly; great grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia and Jack Husek; and sister, Erma Baranowski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Payne; and sister, Ruth Barnowski. The visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Payne will lie in state Saturday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak.
