Helen Gartner

Helen M. Gartner, age 96, died January 10, 2012. Mrs. Gartner was the past president of the Huntington Woods Woman's Club and an active parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak. She enjoyed china painting and paper tole. Beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Jack Lou, Mike and James Lauri; dear sister of Sylvia Livernois, Betty Grunis and the late Chuck "Bud" Ott; proud grandmother of eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. The visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Gartner will lie in state Saturday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Royal Oak. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
