Farac, Helen K. Age 88. April 13, 2013.
Beloved wife of the late Steve. Loving mother of Ronald Margaret and Dennis Rita. Dear sister of Rose Mary Vujnovich. Proud grandmother of Darcy, Ben and Jessica. Helen was a very kind soul who was loved by everyone. She always found a way to make you feel good about yourself. Mrs. Farac was employed by Jacobsen's in Birmingham from 1962 to 1994 as a salesperson in the cosmetic department, where she had a loyal clientele. She was very proud of her Croatian heritage. Bird watching, ancient history and astronomy were just some of her many interests. Late in her life, she resided at St. Anne's Mead, where she made many friends. Her grandchildren Darcy, Ben and Jess were the joy of her life. All who knew Helen will sadly miss being around her. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. In state Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak.
