Hazel Gordon

Hazel A. Gordon, age 94, a resident of Wesley Chapel, FL for the past 2-1/2 years, formerly of the Royal Oak and Troy areas, died February 16, 2012 at her daughter's home in Florida. She was born May 10, 1917 in Detroit to the late Claude and Gladys Jourdan. Mrs. Gordon was a wonderful homemaker and loved shopping. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Gordon June 11, 2006; loving mother of Nancy the late Edgar Taylor, James P. Gordon, Roy R. Gordon and the late Thomas A. Gordon; dear sister of Jacob Cline, Donald Annie Cline, and the late Phillip and Paul Jourdan; proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Gordon will lie in state Thursday 1:30 p.m. until the time of service 2:30 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
