Harvey Reid

Harvey G. Reid, age 87, a lifelong resident of Royal Oak, died February 4, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born August 18, 1921 in Royal Oak. Mr. Reid served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and retired from Ford Motor Co. as a quality controller. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Miriam Spier Reid; sister-in-law, Charlotte Herb Johnson of Sheridan, WY; and one niece and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Betty Reid. A private burial was held at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Waltonwood of Royal Oak, 3450 W. 13 Mile Road, Royal Oak, MI 48073. Arrangements by Wm.
