Beloved husband of 68 years of Loretta. Loving father of Lynn Slawomer Omiecinski, Beth, Diane Tim Mills, and the late Mary. Brother of Charles Irene, Alice, the late Eugenia Gilbert Conley, Noah Millie, Irene Ernest Conley, Clarence Helen, Bernadine Carl Pallas, and Rosemary Klien. Brother-in-law of Edward Klien. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Clementine. Visitation Sunday 2-8 pm with scripture service 3 pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. Funeral Monday, in-state 9:30 am until time of Mass, 10:00 am National Shrine of the Little Flower. Harvey was an Army Air Force veteran 1939-1945, and was one of the first to serve in the European Theatre in WWII. He met his bride at the U.S.O. in New Orleans. Harvey had a great personality and memory. He loved to spin stories and tell jokes. He also enjoyed singing, playing piano and guitar and he was a lot of fun! Mr. Groesbeck was in sales most of his adult career and was a natural at it. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, gardening and was a great handyman.
