Harold Foss Jr

Harold L. Foss Jr., age 84, a 43-year resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Garden City, passed away October 2, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 12, 1929 in Fremont, OH to the late Harold L. Sr. and Henrietta Foss. Mr. Foss was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, who received a Purple Heart. He worked for TACOM in Warren for more than 25 years as a buyer. He enjoyed fishing, watching old movies and listening to classical music. He was a devoted family man and especially loved being a grandfather. He was the beloved husband of Pauline M. Fair Foss; whom he married October 10, 1959 in Garden City; loving father of Karen S. Bouabida, Ronald A. Foss and Susan M. Herrera; dear brother of John, Jim, the late Jay and Walter Foss; proud grandfather of Lori Arcuragi, Brenda Nalepka, Courtney Foss, Zachary Foss, Jesse Herrera and Jacob Herrera; and great grandfather of Brooke, Steven, Chance, Hailey and Paige. The visitation will be Friday 2-9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Burial with military honors will be Tuesday 12:30 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Memorials to the donor's choice of charity are appreciated.
