Grace Margaret LeBlanc, age 95, a resident of Pleasant Ridge for more than 90 years, died July 20, 2009 in Wyandotte. She was born February 8, 1914 in Detroit. Mrs. LeBlanc was a lunchroom aide at Harding Elementary in Ferndale and was known as the "Campbell Soup Lady". She loved to read and watch the "Days of Our Lives". She is survived by her children, George J. LeBlanc of Spring City, TN and David J. LeBlanc of Pleasant Ridge; brother, Richard Umlauf of Hazel Park; grandchildren, Mark H. LeBlanc, André M. LeBlanc, Ranae D. Tom Bain and Nicole D. Christopher Sage; and great grandchildren, Christopher LeBlanc, Bradley LeBlanc, Nicole Smith, Rachael Smith, Tiffany Sage, Joseph Sage and Tommy Bain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard LeBlanc, on June 19, 1975; parents, Herbert and Laura Umlauf; and two sisters and five brothers. Visitation will be Thursday 3-9 p.m. and service Friday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Paul Chateau officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
