Gloria Bradley

Gloria M. Bradley, age 82, a resident of Detroit, died December 24, 2011 at Detroit Receiving Hospital. She was born July 12, 1929 in Ecorse to the late Thomas and Anne Coombs. Mrs. Bradley was the past president of the Lincoln Park Woman's Club and Garden Club. She was the past first lady of the Knights of Columbus Council #470. She was an advocate for the mentally disabled and instrumental in improving their education in Lincoln Park. She is survived by her children, Mary Jo, Annette, Michael, Marcia, Thomas, Kevin and Keith; brother, James Coombs; grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Jessica, Steven, Nathan, Maria, Rachel, Paul, Justin and Michael G.; and great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Joshua. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bradley, on December 21, 1999. The visitation will be Thursday 1-8 p.m. and service Friday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Mt. Elliott Cemetery in Detroit.
