Geneva Grady

Geneva E. Grady, age 93, a longtime resident of Royal Oak, died August 14, 2012 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. She was born December 26, 1918 in New Madrid, MO. Mrs. Grady loved her family and church. She is survived by her children, Thomas Sherrie Grady, Sharon Richard DeMars and Jan Pat Hoy; sister, Evelyn Williams; grandchildren, Jeff, Jason, Buffy, Randy, Erica and Heather; great grandchildren, Madison, Peyton, Austin, Ethan, Libby, Carson, Owen, Brianna, Hannah and Alex; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Grady; and siblings, Jewell Johnson, Lorene Rogers, Pauline Smith, Colleen Stout and Nadine Urquhart. Mrs. Grady will lie in state Friday 10 a.m. until the time of the service 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. John Hice officiating. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Memorials to Beaumont Hospice or First United Methodist Church are appreciated. Arrangements by Wm.
