SCHAEFER, Gene A. Age 57. Beloved wife of Virginia M. Dear father of Daron Schaefer, Rebecca Bingamen, and Kristie Schaefer. Proud grandfather of four beautiful ladies: Amber and Felicia Schaefer and Laken and Brooklyn Bingamen. Beloved brother of Duane Schaefer and Linda Arlan Okerson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, 3 blks east of VanDyke on the northside of Hall Road Utica. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 24th at Greater Life Apostolic Church, 7847 McClellan, Utica. Mr. Schaefer will lie in state at 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Spencer McCool Sr., officiating. His interment will be at the Great Lakess National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
