Gary Stocker

Gary S. Stocker, age 65, a resident of Royal Oak for the past 32 years, died January 14, 2011 at his home. He was born June 16, 1945 in Detroit. Mr. Stocker worked for Hartwell Cement Company in Oak Park for 34 years as a cement finisher. He was also a member of the Berkley American Legion Post #374. He is survived by his children, Lisa Stocker, Crystal Stocker-Nardone, James Farrington and Joseph Farrington; siblings, Myles Stocker and Larry Stocker; and grandson, Anthony Farrington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stocker, on March 18, 2009. The visitation will be Sunday 4-8 p.m. and Monday 12 noon until the time of service 2 p.m., with the Rev. Paul Chateau officiating, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
