Gary Lynn Rossbach, age 67, a resident of Troy, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away August 11, 2010. He was born June 11, 1943 in Toledo, OH to the late Joyce and John Rossbach. Gary grew up in Royal Oak and graduated from Royal Oak Dondero High School in 1961. He graduated from the Art Center College of Design in California in 1968 with distinction. Gary passed away while employed as Senior Lead Interior Designer at Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates Pte. Ltd. He was the Director of Creative Services with the Facility Matrix Group from 1995-2006 and Vice President of Design with Exhibit & Design from 2007-2008. You can view Gary's designs at Woody's Diner and Duggans, both in Royal Oak. He was an accomplished guitar player, singer and composer, which was his passion! He devoted his life to his wife and family. Gary is survived by his wife, Nada; children, Danny Andrea of Howell, Cheri of California, Lisa of Florida, Gina and Kris of Troy; grandchildren, Jack, Connor, Nolan and Kyla; siblings, Shirlee Fox of Grande Ledge, Georgia Schwartz of Clinton Twp., Virgina Ed Glinka of Cape Coral, FL, William Agnes of Madison Hts., Michael Maria of Rochester Hills and Janet Chris Hacker of Cowan, TN. Gary always had a great sense of humor, was easy going, had a great laugh, and always kind and considerate. The visitation will be Friday 3-7 p.m. and service Saturday 1 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blocks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
