G. Robert ôBobö Phillips of Royal Oak, Michigan. Beloved husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bob Phillips, age 80, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2008. Bob was born January 8, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Lois Phillips. Bob married Elizabeth ôBettyö Gilchrist in 1948. Betty predeceased him in 1998 after 50 years of marriage. He is survived by five children: George R. Diana Phillips of Bay City, James J. Karen Phillips of Bay City, Margaret M. Nagel of Dexter, Mary E. Andrew Rossman of Clawson and Girard G. Patricia Phillips of Royal Oak, as well as 19 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
