Fr. Thomas Kirwan

Kirwan, Fr. Thomas P. Age 68. May 30, 2011.
Beloved son of the late Thomas and Mary. Fr. Tom was born and raised in Detroit. A graduate of St. John's Theology Seminary with a Bachelors in Philosophy and a Master's Degree in Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary. He was ordained in June 1969. Fr. Tom served at Christ the King, St. Dorothy, St. Hilary, National Shrine of the Little Flower, Our Lady Queen of All Saints, St. Matthias, Divine Child, St. Blase and St. Raphael Parishes, retiring in January 2001. He enjoyed reading, playing racquetball, music and the theatre. Visitation Friday 2-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Scripture Service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. Funeral Saturday, In-state 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Detroit.
