Fredrick Purtell

Fredrick G. Purtell, age 65, a resident of Royal Oak, died August 29, 2010 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born October 1, 1944 in Detroit. Mr. Purtell served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He retired from Detroit Pump and Manufacturing. He was a longtime member of Prince of Glory Lutheran Church in Madison Heights. He is survived by his wife, Christine Purtell; daughters, Melissa Aric Wienclaw of Ferndale and Laura Steven Town of Royal Oak; and granddaughters, Lillian and Amelia. The memorial visitation will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service 11 a.m. at the Prince of Glory Lutheran Church in Madison Heights, with Pastor Peggy Rose and Pastor John Siefken officiating. The inurnment will take place at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills.
