Beloved husband of the late Laura. Loving father of Mike Ivonne, Mark Laura and Marcia the late Tom Ditmyer. Proud grandfather of Tim Holly Toggweiler, Brian Julie Toggweiler, Nina Nick Kolbe and Michael fiancée Jenna Wagner. Also survived by nine great grandchildren. Mr. Mastracci formerly lived in North Port, FL. He served in the Army Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. He was a graduate of Henry Ford Trade School, Dearborn; Graduate Apprenticeship 5-year training program Plumbing Trade, Detroit Board of Education. Certified by University of Michigan for teaching plumbing in the Apprenticeship Program. Graduate from Purdue University Teacher Training Program for the Plumbers Trade 1961. He was Past President American Society of Sanitary Engineering, Michigan Chapter; Past President Henry Ford Trade School Alumni Association; Past Commander Post 483 American Legion, Detroit. He was employed for 8 years by Mechanical Contractor; 1 year Plumbing Inspector, City of Detroit; 14 years Plumbing Teacher, Metropolitan Detroit Plumbing Training Center; 10 years Director of the Metropolitan Detroit Plumbing Training Center. He previously served on Board of Review, City of Berkley, 3 years; Secretary of Plumbers Local 98, Detroit, 8 years; President of Plumbers Local Union of Greater Detroit, A F of L, 20 years. Former LaCasa Del Sol News Distribution Manager and worked on various LaCasa party committees. Formerly a registered baseball official umpire, State of Michigan, 19 years; active in amateur baseball, boxing and golf. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 pm with a 7 pm scripture service at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blocks E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. Funeral Wednesday, in-state 10:30 am until time of Mass 11 am, at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, Berkley.
