Frank Kripli

Frank A. Kripli, age 75, a resident of Royal Oak, formerly of West Branch, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2012 at the American House in Troy. He was born February 16, 1937 in Detroit to the late Frank and Elizabeth Kripli. Mr. Kripli was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in both Korea and Vietnam. He was also a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He was the loving father of Joe Karen Kripli, Paul Sharon Kripli, John Tracy Kripli, Marie Martin Lareau and Jim Robin Kripli; dear brother-in-law of Randall Kraepel; grandfather of six incredible grandchildren, Korey, Kristen, Anna, Becky, Alexa and Kate; he was especially close to all of his nieces and nephews; and was a loving godfather to John VanBuhler. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edith Kripli, on November 20, 2010. The visitation will be Wednesday 5-8 p.m. and Thursday 2-8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. scripture service, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mr. Kripli will lie in state Friday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak. Memorials to VFW Post #3775, West Branch appreciated.
