Frances Sherkosky

Frances T. Sherkosky, age 95, a resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Du Bois, PA, died February 28, 2011 at Providence Hospital in Southfield. She was born August 1, 1915 in Du Bois. She is survived by her daughter, Antoinette Buchnoff; siblings, James Federici, Joseph Federici, Julia Suplizio and Shirley Radaker; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sherkosky, in November 1975; children, Marsha Sherkosky, Rosemarie Sherkosky and William Joseph Sherkosky; parents, Fred and Clara Federici; and siblings, George Federici, Antoinette Vinzani, Theodore Federici, Viola Snyder, Rudy Federici, Bert Federici and John Federici. Mrs. Sherkosky will lie in state Saturday 9:15 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Du Bois. The burial will take place at St. Catherine Cemetery in Du Bois. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
