Floye Roberta Jones

January 30, 1957- September 10, 2024

Floye “Bobbie” Jones was born January 30, 1957, in Laramie Wyoming. She passed away on September 10, 2024, surrounded by family after a sudden decline in health due to cancer. Bobbie was only 67 years of age.

Bobbie was a larger-than-life, genuine person with a heart of gold. Bobbie was a fighter with an unbreakable spirit. Her love of life radiated in everything she did. Bobbie’s faith in the Lord got her through some tough times. Even after her stroke in 2010, she never gave up learning to walk and talk again, and although she never regained her speech, it didn’t keep her from trying to communicate. She would draw some interesting pictures. Bobbie had a passion for music, collecting antiques and going to yard sales. She enjoyed the holidays which she loved to spend with family. Family was everything to her and being around them is what truly made her happy. Aunt Bobbie was definitely one of a kind. You will be forever missed. Rest in peace.

Bobbie is survived by her husband Charles Jones of Newcastle, Wyoming, daughter Dianna Hansen, grandson Cooper Hansen, granddaughter Halle Hansen from Boise, ID, stepdaughter Ashley (Jason) Adler and step-granddaughter, Emilee Adler of Milliken, CO, niece Carrie (Bobby) Sweet of Newcastle, Wyoming, great-nieces Allysa Dawson and Brystal Sweet, great-nephew Landen Engle and a great-great niece Aniveah Engle, all of Newcastle, Wyoming.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Chip and Johnny, sister Judie and her baby sister the late Diane Latimer of Newcastle, Wyoming. A remembrance and burial will be held at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD at a later date.
