Florence VanDenBrouck

Florence M. VanDenBrouck Age 86, passed away on April 30, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Harvey. She is survived by her children, Mark Fran, Donald and Linda Dale Matz. Grandmother of eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Marcella Blancke. Predeceased by her parents, August and Josephine nee Martin Koss, children, the late Gerard, Barbara and Sharon, brothers, Joseph, Russell and James Koss. Mrs.VanDenBrouck was a member of the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary and the St. Lawrence Altar Society . She was a volunteer at the Red Cross, a Girl Scout Leader, and helped with numerous Multiple Sclerosis Drives. She was the first manager of the St. Lawrence Parish Credit Union, and was on the planning committee for Utica's 175th Celebration and helped in writing the book. She also wrote articles for the Belgium Gazette . Visitation Wednesday 5-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-9 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks E. of Van Dyke Utica. Altar Society rosary Thursday 2:30 p.m. and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.. Instate Friday 11:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 12 Noon at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. 44633 Utica Rd., Utica, MI.
