Ethel Hamel

Ethel Hamel, age 94, a resident of Royal Oak, died May 17, 2012 at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak. She was born May 11, 1918 in Detroit. She is survived by her children, Richard Hamel, Carol McDonough, John Hamel, Charles Hamel, Bill Hamel and Tom Hamel; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hamel, in 1976; and her son, Dennis Hamel. There will be a memorial visitation Monday 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service 7 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Chaplain Craig Aue officiating.
