Ernest Rota, Jr

Ernest S. Rota, age 66, a resident of Royal Oak, died July 23, 2010 at Cambridge North Nursing Center in Clawson. He was born August 30, 1943 in Sayre, PA. Mr. Rota retired from Fresard Pontiac-Buick dealership as a driver. He was also a big fan of the Detroit Red Wings and Michigan football. He is survived by his wife, Meta Rota; children, Michael J. Rota and Stuart R. Rota; stepchildren, Leonard Siegel and Sheila Siegel Weissman; and four grandchildren. The visitation will be held Monday 12-9 p.m. and service Tuesday 1:30 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Tyrone Simmons officiating. The burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
