Erla Delehant

Erla Delehant, age 83, of Hubbard Lake, formerly of Royal Oak, died March 18, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Mrs. Delehant enjoyed her family and friends. Her family described her as a wonderful and caring wife, mother and grandmother, who was always taking care of others. She took great pride in her family. She is survived by her children, Thomas Delehant of Royal Oak and Kathy Larry Wallace of Troy; sister, Mildred Baird; grandchildren, Michael Delehant, Angie Delehant and Brandon Wallace; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence "Larry" Delehant, on October 5, 2006. The couple married June 21, 1947 in Syracuse, NY; daughter, Laura Nielson; and siblings, Jack Elliott and Shirley Bedard. Visitation will be Sunday 2 - 7 p.m. and service Monday 11:30 a.m. at Wm.
