Eric Church

Eric David Church, age 41, a resident of Berkley for the last 16 years, formerly of Royal Oak, died August 12, 2013 in Central Lake, MI. He was born June 29, 1972 in Royal Oak. Eric was a warehouseman in the Mopar Division of Chrysler Automotive since 1996. He loved playing guitar and music in general. He also enjoyed playing golf and coaching the Berkley Mom's Club softball team. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl R. Church; beautiful daughters, Chloe and Lizzy Church; sister, Lisa Tyner; stepfather, Steve Grossmueller; in-laws, Karen Mike Walzak Endean and William Vickie Endean; and sister-in-law, Michelle Shields. He was preceded in death by his father, David Church and mother, Linda Grossmueller. The visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Eric will lie in state Friday 10 a.m. until the time of service 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Royal Oak. Burial at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
