We hope you will join us on Sunday and help us to share 101 years of memories at www.sullivanfuneraldirectors.com A CENTURY OF YEARS by Christine Fusciardi granddaughter-in-law As we gather all together
with our smiles and our tears,
let's sit back and just look back
at "Al's" century of years. She saw the rise of things like crayons,
the zipper, and A.C.;
credit cards and cell phones,
And the game Monopoly. She saw the U.S. add five states,
And twenty great men lead;
ten and two Amendments,
And the Greatest Gen succeed. Chaplin made his movies
And Ford built his Model Ts;
Lindbergh crossed an ocean;
Einstein came up with theories. She got to see "the car" catch on,
the U.S.S.R. race;
a Satellite in orbit,
and the first man up in space. The greatest thing she got to see?
Her loving family grow!
With grandkids; Joanne, Dennis,
Harold, Di, and Gary Joe! And while we'll miss her dearly,
And the pain cuts like a knife,
Just sit back and remember:
What an awesome, awe-filled life!
