Elmo Jones

Elmo Jones, age 99, a resident of Utica since 1947, passed away Feb. 28, 2013 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Elmo was a WWII Veteran of U.S. Army serving in the Panama Canal. Beloved husband of Eleanor whom he married on Sept. 12, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica. Dear father of Pamela Russell Moffatt and Alan Donna Jones. Loving grandfather of 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Friends may visit at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 45160 Van Dyke, Utica where he will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. time of Service.
