Elmer Hahn

Elmer "Bud" Hahn, age 88, a resident of Royal Oak, died August 24, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center - Oakland located in Troy. He was born October 18, 1921 in Romeo. Mr. Hahn was the former owner of Royal Oak Trucking Company. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Lonon; daughter-in-law, Kateri Hahn; grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Nikita and Gabe; and great grandchildren, Kayla, Andrew, Samantha and Alicia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen V. Donaldson Hahn, on May 7, 1999; and his son, Jim Hahn, on November 18, 1996. The visitation will be Saturday 12-9 p.m. and Sunday 12-7 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mr. Hahn will lie in state Monday 12:30 p.m. until the time of service 1 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Royal Oak, with the Rev. Jeremy Schultz officiating. The burial will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
