Ellen Holden

Ellen E. Holden, age 81, a 55-year resident of Royal Oak, died April 9, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born October 26, 1927 in Detroit. Mrs. Holden is survived by her husband, Donald Holden, whom she married in 1946 in Detroit; children, Suzanne James Dietrich, Donna William Johnson and Antoinette Chris Wilson; brother, Leonard Patricia Pilato; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Shapiro. Visitation will be held Saturday 2-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Holden will lie in state Monday 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak.
