Ellen Hawes

HAWES, ELLEN W. October 22, 2005. Age 84, resident of Hazel Park, MI. for 58 Years. Beloved wife of the late Edward L. Hawes. Dear mother of Edward Craig Hawes, Ann Schroeder and the late David Paul Hawes and the late Allan Robert Hawes. Loving Grandmother of Dawn Jarmon, David Hawes, Nichole Corner, Deanna Gleason, Richard Hawes, Christoper Schroeder and Jennifer Schroeder. Great Grandmother of Mitchell John Corner. Ellen was a long time active member of the Unity Church of Royal Oak. She and her husband, Edward, worked in their family business, Hawes Industries, from the early 1960's until her retirement in 1989. They were very active in the Hazel Park Schools, volunteering & attending board meetings. They would often volunteer their place of business for Junior Achievement projects. After she retired she spent time as a volunteer at United Oaks Elementary School, Hazel Park.
