Elfriede Melkonian

Melkonian, Elfriede Rose. Died March 17, 2010 at Mt. Clemens Regional Hospital. She was born on June 4, 1929 in Neuforweiler, Germany to Wilhelm and Gretchen nee Hernig Burkei. Elfreide lost her battle to cancer. She was loved and cherished by all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Alex, her children Margaret, Flora, Andre Peggy, Alex and the late Dikran. Dear daughter-in-law of Helen. Grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 24, and one great great granddaughter. Also survive by two sisters and three brothers. Memorial visitation on Saturday, March 20th from 1:00pm-8:00pm with a memorial service at 6:00pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDyke Utica.
