Elaine Pauley

January 20, 1925 — July 17, 2007

Funeral services for Elaine ?Lynne? Pauley, 82, will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 21st at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Newcastle with Bishop Wayne Erickson presiding over the service. Burial will follow services at Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle under direction of Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle. The family has established a memorial, contributions may be left at Worden Chapel or sent directly to Vicki Cummings, 522 York Street, Apt. 182, Newcastle, WY 82701. Visitation will be held Friday, July 20th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Worden Chapel.
Mrs. Pauley died Tuesday, July 17th at Rapid Regional Hospital following an illness of cancer.
Lynne was born January 20, 1925 at Wasta, South Dakota the daughter of Michael Isaac and Stella Mary Wilkins Hawley. She attended school at Wasta through the eighth grade. She was a ?jack of all trades? from owning her own sports store, appliance store, gun shop, and Wyoming Custom Wood Products. She was married to Wilbur Pauley on April 8, 1948. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a loving kind friend to all.
Lynne was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxilliary, Post #2516 of Newcastle.
Surviving her are daughters Barbera John Berdahl, and Vicki Terry Cummings both of Newcastle; one son Shane Heather Pauley of Priest River, Idaho; two brothers, Bill Hawley and Hank Hawley both of Newcastle. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and daughter Valerie Ploch
