Edward Zelinski

Edward W. Zelinski, of Shelby Twp for 7 years, died July 7, 2011 at home. He was born October 28, 1925 in W. Wyoming, PA. He served in the Navy during World War II in combat. He retired from General Motors, Fisher Body, in 1990 and moved to Florida. He was an enthusiatic golf player and gave a helping hand to many of his fellow workers at GM, who affectionately called him "Fast Eddie". He returned to Michigan in 2004 and lived in Shelby Twp. He will be missed by everyone that came to know him. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, A. Marie, children: David of Warren, Sherry Uelsmann of Novi, and Gary of Sterling Heights, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Dear brother of Irene Rusin of Florida. Memorial visitation at Sullivan Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, 3 blks east of Van Dyke Utica on Friday, July 8th from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
