Edward Amil Rorick, age 67, a resident of Royal Oak for most of his life, passed away April 12, 2014. He was born December 18, 1946 in Detroit to the late Edward and Verna Rorick. Mr. Rorick worked as a Teamster's union truck driver until he retired in 2003. Ed was a tireless worker for Moslem Temple and always worked hard for the Shrine Circus, as well as helping the Shriners with their website design. Noble Ed was Raised a Master Mason on October 26, 1973 and recently received his Life Membership pin at Northwood Ancient Craft Lodge #551 F&AM. He was a proud member of the Moslem Shriners, Southfield, Michigan and the Northwood Ancient Craft Lodge #551 F&AM. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, creating websites and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Edward was a proud father of Edward D. Sarah Rorick, Joseph A. Candace Rorick and Jessica William Kelly Rorick; loving grandfather to Joseph and Kayla Rorick. Visitation on Tuesday, April 15,, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until time of Masonic service at 7:00 p.m. under the auspices of Northwood Ancient Craft Lodge #551 F&AM, W.B. Larry Bullock, W.M. with Shrine walk through prior to the start of the service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E. of Woodward, Royal Oak.
