Edson Bennett

Edson J. Bennett, age 63, of Huntington Woods, formerly of Troy, died June 25, 2009 in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. He was born November 9, 1945 in Detroit. Mr. Bennett worked for Compuware for the last 15 years as a consulting manager. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and held the rank of sergeant. He loved his family, doing crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. He is survived by his wife, Judy A. Jacobs Bennett; children, David E. Bennett and Douglas J. Bennett; sister, Arlene Bill Hand; and by the mother of his children, Grace M. Bennett. Visitation will be Wednesday 1-8 p.m. and service Thursday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Renee Machiniak officiating. Burial will take place at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley.
