Duane Gardner

Duane Gardner, age 59, of Ferndale, passed away September 2, 2014 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born January 23, 1955 in Dearborn. Duane was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He worked as an air traffic controller and then was employed by Stant Corporation as a supplier quality engineer. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed oval track car racing. He was the beloved husband of Diane Gardner; the couple married February 18, 2011; loving father of Rachel Geans and David Gardner; proud grandfather of Sienna and Ronan; stepfather of Angela Greg Perry and Christina Parson; son of David the late Ann and the late Kay Gardner; dear brother of Patricia Dean Taylor, Robert Cheryl Gardner, Thomas Rebecca Gardner, James Deni Gardner, Annette Larry Snyder and Jennifer Brian Lukas; and stepbrother of Scott Karen Kubicki and Keri Kubicki. The visitation will be Friday 5-8 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. until the time of service 1 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
