Dottie P.Wendryhoski 38 year resident of Shelby Township, passed away on Wednesday February 17, 2010 in Troy, Michigan
Born February 5, 1933 in Crossville, TN to the late Arthur and Ella Slettvett
She was a member and Cathecist at St. Kieran Catholic Church in Shelby Township, and member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and the Bridge Club. She was an elementary teacher in the Utica Community Schools for over 42 years. She volunteered as a reading specialist to the under privledged students in the community. Loved to travel, read, and especially spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of Frank Wendryhoski
Loving Mother of Susan Kent Gregory; Terri Mark Hamilton; Jon Robert Smeltekop Wendryhoski; and Ann Tim Marasco;
Proud grandmother of Andrea, Caryn, Meg, Emma, and Mackenzie; and Great Grandson Dean. Also survived by her siblings Gladys Frankenburg, Archie Slettvet, Don Jackie Slettvet, Dallas Slettvet, Elizabeth Bob Naja, Lee Long, and Beverly Leisure. Visitation will be Saturday 1:00pm-5:00pm with a prayer service at 3:00pm by Alpha Delta Kappa and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a parish lead prayer service at 3:00pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDyke Utica. Monday she will lie in state at 10:30 am until time of her funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Kieran Catholic Church, 53600 Mound Road btw 24 & 25 Mile Rd, Shelby Twp, MI. A second service will be on Tuesday February 23, 2010 in state at 11am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 535 South 14th St. New Castle, Indiana until time of Service 12Noon. Interment South Mound Cemetery New Castle, IN.
