Dorthy Kincannon

Dorthy Helen Kincannon, age 82, a resident of Royal Oak, died October 8, 2009 at her home. She was born January 30, 1927 in Westport, TN. Mrs. Kincannon lived in Royal Oak since 1966. She was a homemaker and loved to camp. Most of all, she loved her family. She is survived by her children, Jim Marion Kincannon of Troy, Troy Kincannon of Royal Oak, Gaylon Kincannon of Sterling Heights, Bill Elizabeth Kincannon of Royal Oak and Debbie Roger Teasdale of Sterling Heights; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlon A. Kincannon, on December 22, 1998. The couple were married April 8, 1943 in Mississippi. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Tyler Teasdale. The visitation will be held Friday 2-8 p.m. and the service Saturday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. William Lawrence officiating. The burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy.
