Dorothy Schenk

Dorothy Ethel Schenk nee Rosenaw, age 93, a resident of Royal Oak, died February 12, 2013. She was born January 1, 1920 in Detroit to the late Fredrick and Ethel Rosenaw. Mrs. Schenk was a dental assistant for James Turrin, DDS, in Ferndale, where she worked with her sisters, Lillian and Virginia and her daughter, Barbara. She enjoyed oil painting, talking while having tea and goodies and playing cards. She also loved going to the casinos, taking vacations and long car rides. Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Loving mother of Barbara Joseph Maruskin and Brenda Gerald Jezierski. Dear sister of Virginia Woloshen, Lillian Berndt and the late Fredrick Rosenaw. Proud grandmother of five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, eight step-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
