Dorothy Newton

Dorothy Arlene Newton, age 91, a resident of Royal Oak, died February 18, 2010 at Cherrywood Nursing Center in Sterling Heights. She was born October 3, 1918 in Decatur, IL. She is survived by her children, Patsy Fritz Linder of Sterling Heights, Donna Sam Piccolo of Chino Valley, AZ and Robert Newton of Royal Oak; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Charles Newton, in July 1994; parents, William and Zelma Tosh; and siblings, Wayne Tosh, Mary Ann Mariner and Margaret Warner. The visitation will be Sunday 3-8 p.m. and service Monday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Dale Hunter officiating.
