Dorothy Mitchell

MITCHELL, DOROTHY M. Nee LePage, Age 89 of Warren, died Saturday February 7, 2009. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her son; Bruce Marcia Mitchell of Clinton Twp. Grandchildren Jason and Sarah and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mitchell resided in Lake Linden, Michigan for over 30 years and was a member of St. Leonard's in Warren and St. Clement Catholic Church in Center Line. She was an avid crotchetier and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Mitchell had worked for Henry Ford Macomb Hospital Warren Campus. Her family said "She was very selfless and put the needs of her family and friends before her own." Mrs. Mitchell was predeceased by her husband; Jim and brothers, Wilmer, Rueben and Kenneth, and her parents; Amos and Valerie. Friends may call at the D.S. Temrowski & Son Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd., Warren on Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 25320 Van Dyke Ave., Center Line, MI 48015. Additional visitation Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospices of Michigan, American Cancer Society or St. Vincent De Paul's.
